Title: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Alton, IL
Compensation:
- Base pay: $25-33/hour
- Monthly Production Bonus
- Total compensation: $46+/hour - $54+/hour (including bonuses)

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment.
- Dismantle, rebuild, clean, and lubricate plant machinery to maintain optimal functionality.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment issues, advising on necessary maintenance.
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, and manuals to assemble and repair equipment.
- Calibrate and adjust machinery for optimal performance.
- Perform rigging, jacking, and hoisting tasks as required.
- Fabricate, assemble, and install structural welds and equipment.
- Execute welding repairs to maintain equipment integrity.
- Assist with additional maintenance tasks, tests, and repairs.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- A.S. degree from an accredited college or trade school OR a minimum of 4 years of mechanical experience.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficiency with tools such as precision instruments, drill presses, grinders, wrenches, and more.
- Familiarity with industrial mill equipment.
- Capability to work independently and prioritize safety.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, and crawling during shifts.
- Successful completion of pre-employment screenings, including physical and agility tests, background checks, drug screens, and vision tests.
